Specialist Consultations: Face-to-face and Telehealth

Assoc/Prof Alex Ades is consulting patients at AGORA Specialist Centre located inside Epworth Richmond Hospital. He and his team will let you know if you need a face-to-face appointment or if you qualify for a Telehealth consultation via WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, etc.

Restrictions to your visit to the clinic

If you are having a face-to-face consultation some restrictions to your visit are being applied:

  • You need to attend your appointment by yourself or with one close adult person only.

  • You will need to be on time as we are spacing up face-to-face appointments to avoid having more than two people in the waiting room

  • You will be screened on entering Epworth Richmond Hospital building to ensure you do not have a temperature.

Please call the rooms before you make your way to AGORA Specialist Centre if you are experiencing the following symptoms:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or wheeze

  • Breathing difficulties

  • Headache

Temporary Measures to Save Lives

It is important to understand that these are temporary measures and your NON-COVID-19 related health concerns are still relevant and of great significance.

In this ever-evolving situation, changes to the delivery of care will still be made based on the advice and recommendations set up by the Australian Government. If you need treatment, please be certain that measures are in place to make sure it happens in a safe and timely manner.
